Hazardous Materials Training

This program is appropriate for drivers, safety personnel, supervisors, dispatchers, loading dock personnel and any other interested parties. It meets the DOT and OSHA requirements for training personnel affecting the transportation of hazardous materials.

What you'll learn

The nine hazard classes and packaging groups.

Proper marking, labeling and placarding.

How to properly prepare shipping papers, and recognize improper shipping papers.

Basic familiarization with applicable regulations.

Separation, segregation and compatibility tables and restrictions.

Who should attend

Drivers, safety personnel, supervisors, dispatchers, billing and clerical, loading dock personnel and supervisors, any other interested parties.

This program is approved for 3.5 general recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). The HRCI seal is not an endorsement by HRCI of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met HRCI's criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.
