This full-day course provides an overview of The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).  Participants will hear a summary of each law's basic requirements, a comparison of these laws, ideas for administration to ensure compliance, and an update on recent changes to these laws.

These important changes include the ADA Amendments Act, effective January 1, 2009; the revised FMLA regulations, effective January 16, 2009; and the National Defense Authorization Act Amendments to the FMLA, effective in 2008 and 2009.
