This course is for HR professionals planning to take the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification examination for either the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designations. Program includes:

• 11 three-hour classroom sessions designed to review the key components of the HR body of knowledge that may be covered in the exam. These fast-paced, info rich sessions also include tips on test-taking and studying and are facilitated by EA instructors who possess HR experience, PHR/SPHR certification and/or other professional designations.

• Weekly study groups facilitated by EA’s HR consultants prior to all but first two sessions

• Six HRCP bound Study Manuals.  These detailed manuals include review quizzes and discussion questions for each topic.
  

• HRCI (Human Resources Certification Institute) Certification Guide

• EA Study aids and practice exams

• Second-Time-Around Option – If at the end of the program you don’t feel prepared to take the exam, or if you are not successful on your first attempt at the exam, you can attend EA’s PHR/SPHR Certification Preparation Program the next time it is offered for no fee

• Resources available through EA’s Library (available for EA members only)

• Comprehensive Practice Exam– take a practice test, review the answers and answer rationales — this $160 value is free to program participants

• Option to pair up with a study buddy and/or to learn about the testing experience of an HR professional who recently passed the exam

• Certificate of Completion provided; College Credits available
