Effective Verbal Communication II: Using Voice and Non-Verbals

The human body is the instrument of verbal communication with 80% of each message being delivered through non-verbal cues. This program identifies participant's current vocal and physical presentation, and will help individuals make adjustments to, and take advantage of, their individual patterns of behavior.
 

Program content

  • Understanding vocal quality--diction, modulation, volume, pace and pitch
  • Developing vocal capacity--exercises and warm-ups that help the speaking voice
  • Stance, body language and using physical postures
  • Tips for speaking in public--do's and don'ts that help the voice and overall presentation

  • Human resource professionals
  • Business leaders and owners
  • Anyone who needs to make presentations or speak to large or small groups
Workshop is limited to 12 participants per session. NOTE:  Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for movement.
